On our courses we use PowerPoint but try to avoid those long and boring training sessions where a trainer just reads through the slides.

We use a range of training styles to meet every participant’s learning needs, a typical course might include whole group discussions, small group work, quizzes, videos as well as trainer input.

We invite questions during all of our courses, and if we can’t answer them there and then maybe someone else in the group can.

If none of us can then we will find out together.

What they say about our training

“Drugtrain have provided Beacon with training on numerous subjects over the years and I would recommend to everyone.

The feedback has been excellent. The trainers are incredibly knowledgeable on the subjects, make it interesting, interactive and well worth it all round.

All correspondence from start to finish has been second to none – thank you.”

About James

I’ve worked in drug treatment services for over 20 years in a variety of roles.

I am passionate about providing training to people new to working in this sector or those who might have been here for a while.

I want people who attend Drugtrain courses to leave feeling that they have learnt something that they can use with the people they work with but more importantly, I want them to feel inspired, motivated and with a sense of renewed enthusiasm for the work that they do.
